1. What's the A/C Fan?
A fan is a fluid machine that uses input mechanical energy (usually driven by an electric motor) to increase gas pressure and discharge gas. In refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation, fans are used to force airflow to achieve heat exchange, heat dissipation, or ventilation. Its core performance parameters include air volume, air pressure, power, and noise level.
2. How many kinds of air conditioning fans?
a) Brushed Evaporator Fan
Motor Type: Brushed DC Motor
Application Location: Evaporator side inside the bus compartment
Features and Current Application: Commonly used in traditional buses; mature technology and low cost. However, it suffers from carbon brush wear, resulting in a shorter lifespan (approximately 5,000 hours), and can generate electromagnetic interference and sparks.
b) Brushed Condenser Fan
Motor Type: Brushed DC Motor
Application Location: Condenser side on the bus roof/front end
Features and Current Application: Same advantages and disadvantages as brushed evaporator fans. However, due to its exposed location, it requires higher standards of waterproofing, dustproofing, and high-temperature resistance, leading to more frequent maintenance.
c) Brushless Evaporator Fan
Motor Type: Brushless DC Motor (BLDC)
Application Location: Evaporator side inside the bus compartment
Features and Current Application: Mainstream choice for new energy buses—high efficiency, long lifespan (up to 20,000-30,000 hours), low noise, and stepless speed regulation, contributing to overall vehicle energy conservation.
d) Brushless Condenser Fan
Motor Type: Brushless DC Motor (BLDC)
Application Location: Bus roof/front condenser side
Trend: Adopted in most new roof-mounted air conditioners. It boasts advantages such as high efficiency, strong weather resistance, and high reliability, and can better utilize the natural wind generated by the vehicle's movement, reducing power consumption.
3. How does Bus Air Conditioning Fan work?
The brushed motor is a type of DC motor that achieves mechanical commutation through brushes and commutators. It consists of a stator, rotor, brushes, and commutators. Its working principle is based on electromagnetic field interaction. The brushes work in conjunction with the commutator to reverse the current direction, enabling the rotor windings to continuously rotate within the stator magnetic field.
Brushless DC motors employ semiconductor switching devices to achieve electronic commutation, replacing the traditional contact commutator and brushes with electronic switching components.
4. Introduction to Cling A/C Fan Workshop
Founded in 2018, the fan workshop covers an area of more than 1,000 square meters, specializes in the production and processing of DC brushed fans and brushless blower.
There are 7 production lines in total. The comprehensive annual production capacity of a single shift can reach 500,000 units.
