CM160 Series air conditioner is Cling's new generation of traditional narrow-body air conditioning product tailored for overseas customers. This series is currently Cling's latest traditional minibus air conditioning product line. The CM160 air conditioner has dimensions of only 2200*1360*210 mm in length, width, and height, meeting the needs of 6-7 m narrow-body vehicles.

Superior performance

Under standard conditions (outdoor 35°C, in-vehicle 27.5°C), the cooling capacity reaches 14kW, far exceeding existing products of the same platform. Low-noise fans are selected to achieve a 63dB quiet environment, creating the optimal customer experience. The brand-new structural design remains robust and reliable even under 4g acceleration vibration.

Compact yet complete: The fourth-generation light and medium-duty front-mounted rooftop air conditioner has a compact layout of all components. After multiple verifications, redundant structures and operations have been removed, and the minimalist design philosophy is adopted.

Easy Installation and Removal

The condenser fan uses a quick-release structure, allowing maintenance and repair without removing the cover. The wiring and piping use a no-glue structure with convenient disassembly while ensuring sealing and aesthetics. After mechanical analysis and verification, the fixing points of each component have been streamlined for easy installation and removal.

Higher Efficiency

Through modeling and analysis of the product's wind field and flow field, the intake and exhaust, as well as the core layout, have been optimized. This harmonizes the relationship between the air and the refrigerant core, reduces heat loss during the process, and enhances efficiency.

Light Weight

A new aluminum profile and aluminum alloy welding structure are used. Mechanical software is employed to repeatedly simulate and analyze each structure, reducing material usage and welding points while ensuring strength and functionality, thus lightening the product.The air conditioner cover uses high-strength, lightweight RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) technology, combined with a smooth design concept. This not only significantly improves the surface quality but also reduces the thickness and material density of the cover, with a thickness of only 2.8mm, resulting in noticeable weight reduction.

Working principle

At cooling mode, the liquid refrigerant absorbs heat and vaporizes, becoming LP, LT steam, and goes into compressor, and gets compressed into HT, HP gas, then moves through 4 way valve, then into condenser to lose heat, it becomes mid pressure, LT liquid, then throttled by expansion valve, loses pressure, then goes into evaporator to vaporize. Such a loop goes on and on.
