Product Introduction

The FFND series air conditioning units are Cling's traditional built-in air conditioning products. In terms of structure, they feature a concealed layout, powerful cooling capacity, and integrated heating and cooling. Compared to roof-mounted air conditioning, built-in air conditioning is lighter in weight and has a lower installation position, which lowers the vehicle's center of gravity, and helps reduce the risk of rollover.

Intelligent Control System

The intelligent six-constant control system innovatively applies six scenario modes. It supports separate control of supply and exhaust air, with four speed settings. The PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) comfort control technology is used to set the optimal comfort standards for human body experience. The system intelligently selects the mode and automatically achieves constant temperature, constant humidity, constant cleanliness, constant quietness, constant oxygen, and constant pressure. This builds a comprehensive health system covering air cleanliness, temperature and humidity comfort, and body comfort.

Intelligent Fresh Air System

The system uses a full fresh air bi-directional flow for rapid air exchange, increasing the fresh air volume by six times. The vehicle maintains a slight positive pressure, and the entire cabin is filled with fresh air within three minutes of circulation.

Noise Reduction Solution

The NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) performance has a definite advantage over competitors. By using brushless evaporator fans and optimizing fan control strategies, the maximum noise level of the air conditioning system (at the highest setting of 7) is 64.2 dB, which is better than the base product (66.5 dB) and the competitors' highest noise level of 65.3 dB.

Centralized Heating and Cooling Control

The system can integrate heating and cooling defrosting device, wall-mounted radiator, and driver's area single cooling unit, providing an integrated temperature control function for heating and cooling.

Energy Saving

In summer, after the vehicle has been exposed to intense sunlight, the new air flushing mode is activated upon boarding, which quickly lowers the temperature and achieves energy saving. In spring and autumn, the system uses full fresh air to introduce cool, oxygen-rich air from outside to regulate the temperature and humidity inside the vehicle, without starting the compressor, thus saving fuel.

Zonal Temperature Control for Passenger Area

Sensors and controllers work together. Temperature sensors are installed in each area to monitor the actual temperature in real-time and feedback to the control unit. The controller adjusts the air temperature and volume for each area based on sensor data, achieving precise temperature control. The air supply is automatically turned off in unoccupied areas to reduce energy waste.

Convertible One-to-Two and One-to-Three Air Conditioning

The air conditioning system can be converted between one-to-two and one-to-three configurations. It intelligently adjusts the opening of the evaporator solenoid valve to allocate the refrigerant flow, meeting the temperature requirements of different areas on the upper and lower levels. This avoids energy waste, meets market demands, and creates the optimal customer experience.

Evaporator Fan with Quick-Detach Structure

The evaporator fan of the air conditioning system uses a quick-detach structure with a pressure plate. This makes the installation and removal of the fan simple, improving production efficiency and facilitating subsequent maintenance.

Aluminum Alloy Symmetrical Structure

The air conditioning system features an aluminum alloy symmetrical structure, which is simple in design and offers higher strength. This enhances the product's precision and consistency in appearance.

Working principle

At cooling mode, the liquid refrigerant absorbs heat and vaporizes, becoming LP, LT steam, and goes into compressor, and gets compressed into HT, HP gas, then moves through 4 way valve, then into condenser to lose heat, it becomes mid pressure, LT liquid, then throttled by expansion valve, loses pressure, then goes into evaporator to vaporize. Such a loop goes on and on.
