- Working Principle:

As a branch of the air conditioning system, the defroster operates through the following four processes in the refrigeration cycle:
Compression process: The compressor draws in low-temperature, low-pressure refrigerant vapor generated within the evaporator and heating/cooling defroster, compresses it into high-temperature, high-pressure refrigerant vapor, and discharges it into the condenser.
Condensation process: After entering the condenser, the high-temperature, high-pressure refrigerant vapor dissipates heat to the surrounding environment through the condenser with the assistance of the condenser fan and becomes high-temperature, high-pressure liquid refrigerant.
Throttling process: High-temperature, high-pressure liquid refrigerant undergoes throttling, cooling and pressure-reducing through the throttling device and then transforms into a low-temperature, low-pressure mixture of gas and liquid before entering the evaporator and the heating/cooling defroster.
Evaporation process: The low-temperature, low-pressure gas-liquid mixture throttled by the expansion valve enters the evaporator and heating/cooling defroster. Driven by the fan, it absorbs heat from the surrounding environment and vaporizes into low-temperature, low-pressure gas refrigerant. After passing through the gas-liquid separator, the gas enters the compressor for further compression to endure one refrigeration cycle.
Under the continuous operation of the compressor, the aforementioned refrigeration cycle proceeds uninterruptedly. The heating and cooling defroster continuously releases cooling capacity, thereby achieving the refrigeration effect.
Heating function: Using circulating hot water antifreeze as the heat source, it exchanges heat with air. A fan then directs the warm air toward the vehicle's front windshield or the driver cabin to achieve defrosting, foot heating, and face heating functions.
